About Us
Carl and Jill Toth’s story began when a New Yorker and an Arkansan crossed paths in Texas and fell in love. Nearly forty years later, their journey has been one of marriage, full-time ministry, and raising a family—marked by faith and a desire to follow wherever God leads.
In 2015, that journey took a new turn when they adopted their daughter, Collins, from China. Through her, God opened their eyes to the deep needs of vulnerable children and stirred a fresh calling in their hearts.
As Carl and Jill served, they recognized a critical truth: children everywhere are in a battle for their hearts and minds. Without knowing who God is, their future can feel uncertain and hopeless. Out of this conviction, they began to dream of a simple way to equip families and ministry leaders to plant God’s Word deeply into young lives.
That dream became Maker’s Box. Each themed box invites children to discover the heart of God, pairing His character with the deepest needs of the human heart. At its core is the belief that the Gospel and ongoing discipleship bring lasting transformation.
Today, the mission of Maker’s Box is to come alongside parents, teachers, and ministry leaders—to give them tools that make it easy to share Christ’s hope and nurture faith that lasts for eternity.
